POPS US about to boost high-tech trade with China The only way that this makes any sense to me is that China must already have access to the high-tech equipment that the US is allowing to be exported there. Even if Chinese industry demonstrates "an established record of nonproliferation and 'responsible civilian use' of US high-tech products," in the long run, can we really trust a country that is aggressively building up its military engine, threatening our allies and one that also blatantly counterfeits countless American products?
