POPSFacebook asked to pull Scrabulous game Hrm, this just seems like a stupid way to go about it. Yes, it is a gross infringement of thier rights, however, it is one of the most popular games/apps on Facebook. I know lots of people who play it. My girlfriend decided to add scrabble to her xmas wishlist after playing it on facebook and being reminded of haw good a game it is. She got the deluxe version of the game under the tree :) As I see it, the idiots are missing out. They could make a deal witht he writers gaining the majority (if not all/nearly all) of any profits made from teh game, and use it to link to thier product, re brand it as official and make MONEY through internet sales of the real thing. Morons. Everybody is shoot first, shoot again.. shoot a little more & when everyone is dead, ask a question or two.. Reminds me of the Alberta Preimier - Domain name issue...

POPSProject takes aim at Internet child porn Personally, i think this is a great idea.. if they can extend it to lockout known purveyors of child porn on P2P networks as well, that would be wonderful. (ps: i added "censorship" as a tag, as some people are calling this a form of censorship..I think it solves more than it harms...)

POPSThe next terrorist threat: 14 year old girls! OMG.. yeah, a 14 year old girl is a serious threat.. at that, an honor's student.. a little leg work would have shown they needed not bother harassing her... a simple email or phone call woul dhave sufficed. Leave it to the US to crack down on a little girl's mistake. pathetic.

POPS"Bully" must be handed over to a judge within 24 hours... Jack Thompson strikes again. Now, not that I necessarily disagree that a judge would need to view a game in it's entirety to be able to rule if it is a nuisance, but why video games? I mean, do courts order that 50 Cent's latest album must be reviewed by the court to make sure it is not a nuisance? Another thing that bothers me is that games ARE reviewed, just as movies, music, actually, more in depth than music is.. Music just gets an label, which does not stop it from being sold to kids in most cases. FYI: "Bully" is rated 'M', meaning it's not supposed to be played by kids...

POPS'Grand Theft Auto' makers blamed for triple killing Give me a #%&ing break! Stop blaming video games because you neglect your kids!!!!! Video games don't breed homicidal maniacs, bad parent, bad schooling, bad society does! (With a healthy (or unhealthy) smattering of mental disorder...) These pricks are likely just wanting to blame someone for their own miserable failures, and are seeing big price tags at rockstar & co. It's pathetic.

POPSThe Political Game: Who will save gamers?
I'm so sick and $%&@* tired of people blaming violence in the youth culture on video games. How friggin ignorant do you have t be to believe that a kid who plays "grand Theft Auto" will turn into a homicidal maniac? Kids have been killing each other far longer than video games have been in the main stream (long before they were even in existence). It's sad that a comedy-satire show has to show us how absurd many of these legal actions are. I've played video games all my life. I had a VERY, VERY #*%&'ed up childhood. Dealt with physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, was bullied in school (until I reached about grade 10), and though the though of teaching a bully a good object lesson crossed my mind, I like the VAST majority of my fellows believed it would solve nothing. "Cold Case" the other night did a great job of showing how people blame violent video games. "you played maniac massacre, you must have loved the thought of killing people!".. oh blow it out your igno

POPSEvolution Attack Goes Global Just another example of the ignorance (IMO) of radical fundamentalist christians trying to change history so they have complete controle. This is just plain ignorant and morally wrong.
