Ritalin Linked With Sudden Death of Children

    Eating healthy to fight depression
    egoldstein
    by egoldstein  10-9-2009    3
The connection between physical and mental health seems absolute, so i suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that eating well is not only good for your body, but for your emotional well being too. I don't mean to sound naive or overly simplistic, but if everyone made a commitment to healthier eating and drinking i think it would solve a whole lot of our problems - including bringing down the overall costs of health care. I say this mostly sarcastically, but in some way i feel that people who eat and drink like crap should have to pay higher taxes - there is no doubt their eating habits cause a greater economic burden on society.

False Flag Flu (H1n1) prompts changes to Mental Health Act
    The Infowarrior
    by The Infowarrior  9-25-2009    2
I started to comment but couldn't really add to these. Is it right that swine flu should affect health regulations? Your comments (terms and conditions apply): "Absolutely not, especially if these authorities redefine 'mental illness' to include being opposed to the government's official stories about the swine flu. When governments remove civil rights, and arbitrarily change laws so as to deny due process of law, we are automatically living under a dictatorship. Citizens of any nation which allow such nefarious backdoor assaults on their freedoms will have their indifference rewarded with tyranny" – Dee Nicholson, Canada "No. absolutely not. In the event of staff shortages, what we don't need is less thorough assessment! Swine flu seems to be the 'new terrorism' allowing the state to impose 'fear based' measures that would otherwise seem unthinkable" – Christian Thompson, Yorkshire "Tyranny, fascism and eugenicism in action" – Scott, Teesside

Here are ten key points associated with MSEHPA: Under the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, upon the declaration of a “public health emergency,” governors and public health officials would be empowered to: Force individuals suspected of harboring an “infectious disease” to undergo medical examinations. Track and share an individual’s personal health information, including genetic information. Force persons to be vaccinated, treated, or quarantined for infectious diseases. Mandate that all health care providers report all cases of persons who harbor any illness or health condition that may be caused by an epidemic or an infectious agent and might pose a “substantial risk” to a “significant number of people or cause a long-term disability.” (Note: Neither “substantial risk” nor “significant number” are defined in the draft.) Force pharmacists to report any unusual or any increased prescription rates that may be caused by epidemic disease.

"Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day" of the year the legislation becomes law. So we can all keep our coverage, just as promised " with, of course, exceptions: Those who currently have private individual coverage won't be able to change it. Nor will those who leave a company to work for themselves be free to buy individual plans from private carriers. I am not reading the bill (1000+ page .pdf, or 4 page summary) the same way. The relevant section on page 16 describes the treatment of currently operating plans that will be grandfathered under the new legislation (Key hint - the section is titled "Grandfathered Health Insurnce Coverage Defined). Rather than tear up all existing health insurance contracts, such grandfathered plans will generally be allowed to operate . . .

"Health Care 'Change' You Shouldn't Believe In"
    kris_tea

"When the government has people dependent on a medical system it starts to treat them like property and tells them how to live. It also makes decisions on whether they live or die by telling them whether or not they will get an operation." "The change Obama wants for America is fundamentally inhumane and dangerous. Real change begins next November when we clean house and start sending politicians home. Take away those who vote for his bills and he becomes a paper tiger with the words “One-Termer” on his forehead."

If you take the vaccines you'll also be getting a dose or two of Formaldahide, Mercury, Fluoride and of course not forgetting the Cancer Viruses. All perfect for population control and depopulation. Its admitted by Health officials that the ordinary flu is alot more dangerous, it is just the media whipping it up into a frenzy in the public eye. - ''We want to make sure we aren't promoting panic, but we are promoting vigilance and preparation,'' Obama said. What a hypocrite.

Unreal. But wait, Obama PROMISED his taxes would not effect anyone making under $250k a year. You mean he lied? No way. So, once GWB's tax cuts for the rich expire, the average family making $40,000 a year see an increase of over $1000 in federal taxes. Then, Cap & Trade will cost us around $4000 a year in higher utilities and costs (and I think that is way underestimated) Then, forced health care will run another $12k for a family. Then what? Wonder how we will pay to feed our kids? Oh, that's right, tax the "rich" and give the rest of us food stamps. Great plan. Really doubt it will workout for most of us.
