POPSUnderage Beer Graduation Party Followup This is a follow up of my previous clip on the graduation party busted for underage beer drinking that the parents hosted. Remember, they were busted because Sikeston is in the Bible belt, even though the family is Catholic and their son graduated from a Catholic h.s.

POPSNo Remorse for Holding H.S. Graduation Party Follow up to yesterday's clip on Notre Dame H.S. graduation party held by a parent. No remorse for allowing under age drinking. As I mentioned yesterday, Sikeston considers itself to be in the South, so that means lots of Baptists, Evangelicals, etc. Catholics are in the minority. So some neighbor took offense, even though they had a permit for a loud party, and called it in.

POPSCatholic Parents' H.S. Graduation party busted If this had occured in Cape Girardeau county, where the Catholic H.S. is located, where there is a University, where probably close to 70% of the population is Catholic or Lutheran, nothing would have happened--they did have a permit for a loud party. It occurred in Scott County, Sikeston, which happens to be probably 85 or 90% Southern Baptist, Methodist, Evangelicals. Some neighbor took offense (some non-drinking neighbor) and called it in. See complete article for story. Kind of related to Does Alcohol kill brain cells?

POPSAre You a Christian Heretic? A fun little diversion. Might tell you as much about some aspects of the Faith you don't consider on a daily basis as it does on whether or not you are a heretic. With the state of religious education these days, many of these questions could easily confuse those who wear their faith lightly. btw: Completely Chalcedon compliant here. Whew. ;-)
