POPSBad Moon Rising The British upper 1% parrot the US upper 1%. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside (sic). However, Brown did state that Israel needs to back off in regards to the Palestinian state. Of course the Israelis didn't take kindly to this, sticking to their own version of manifest destiny.

POPSDemocracy Supposedly I live in a representative republic. Maybe our republic is more like a democracy of the upper one percent.

POPSWestinghouse AP1000 Nuclear Reactors seven of nine approved across the US (no Borg jokes please). Plus Westinghouse/Shaw corporations have been given the thumbs up to build these same reactors in China. It is what is called a generation III+ reactor, and its stats are amazing. Five percent enriched uranium oxide (far less than what is concidered weapons grade: 98%+) which is an amazing improvement to previous plants The coolant pumps are proven designs that are used in warships for cripes sake (and they are huge and impressive). Go to the address below for full info on it. www.energetics.com/pdfs/nuclear/ap1000.pdf

POPSGetmo Video Release How many 15 year old Canadians do you know who take vacations into war zones without their parents? Outraged Canadians are dangerous (scoff). This is why we need quick and decisive tribunals in regards to "detainees" We are wasting our money and destroying their lives. The detainees should be brought to justice or acquitted of their charges in a timely fashion.

POPSMegacorps on the rise Sad. Just sad. I hate piss water beer, but the idea that a American born and raised company being sold to foreign conglomerate is just upsetting. The Busch family survived two world wars with the stigma of being German-American, and was the first beer company to deliver beer to the White House after prohibition. Just as with oil, American dollars will be sent to line the coffers of the foreign rich. Its bad enough that the American rich screw us now, but we will eventually have to bow to our megacorp masters, regardless of their nationality. Welcome to the future of things.

POPSUnhealthy Eating Habits, the thinner side. I understand eating disorders. In fact, if I didn't watch how much I ate, I would be a whale of a man. I currently weigh about 210 pounds with about 18 percent body fat (which isn't good, but it isn't too bad either). I am just shy of six foot one. I don't feel I have to loose weight, but I know if I were to eat like i used to (pushed almost 280 @ 25 to 28 percent body fat) I would be putting my self at risk for health problems. I guess moderation is the key. I enjoy the taste of food too much. And I eat when ever I am depressed. One of these is an emotional reaction, one that I can avoid. I guess knowing who you are helps in combating the problems. But then again, I know a crap ton of Americans that could go without eating for a few weeks (and yes I know not eating is just as bad, its just a general statement at the situation of obesity).

POPSUS-UK The C in C looks pissed. He did make a fool of himself again, saying he was expecting Brown to be a dour or awkward Scotsman. I guess that ain't as bad as winking at the Queen of England.

POPSBout damn time! Ignored by the US in its time of need. Iraq was a more "dangerous target." I hope the UN troops fair better than the US in Iraq.

POPSAmerica the prison. Okay, I can understand what they are worried about, geographical isolation of gene pools can be bad. But isn't that how diversity originated? Is that not what caused evolution of various species (if you happen to believe in evolution)? Damage the environment and harm wildlife... unfortunately a lot of Americans view the immigrants as wildlife. I am all for "tracked immigration." Each Mexican stopping by an office on the way in and being assigned a work control number (for tracking, taxes, social security... similar to a SSN), or registering as a prospective citizen. Let them in, let them work legally, let them pay taxes like the rest of us proles. It doesn't matter where your from nor the color of your skin, we are all proles in the end.

POPSConvert or Play (Die) Get em while they are young takes on a whole new meaning. Destroy the interests in science early using play time.

POPSIts worse than we all thought. So here is the plan, give everyone who we like guns... and let them protect Iraq. Some how I told you so doesn't quite fit this one. A friend and I were just discussing how the executive branch in the US likes to keep things secret, thinking they are clever. When they do release their info or plans, it seems like a drunk 12 year old drafted the ideas. I've long had a theory on US withdrawal from Iraq creating a tug of war between the Saudis, Iranians, Syrians, and the Israelites. Iraq wouldn't be able to defend it's self, turning it from occupied territory by the us, to being trampled over by four or five nations, who just don't get along.

POPSPolice Brutality? Mind you this took place a month after the Hurricane Katrina. The day after the hurricane passed 250 officers didn't show back up for work. There were even accusations of the police looting. Stress is a mind blower. The cops may have done the right thing with the old man. Rule one: When caught by the police, do not resist arrest or detainment. Rule two: Don't get caught in the first place.

POPSFear of the blogggggg With a face like that how can you not keep your comments to yourself! But on a more serious note. This doesn't surprise me one bit. Civil what... oh liberties. Seems us proles always get the short end of the stick when it comes to the Social Contract.

POPSFootball (non-american) rules! And you thought the natives of the Brittish Isles and Ireland were hardcore. These Iraqi guys are getting blown the fu*ck up and it don't stop em from cheering their football team. Balls to the walls, nut house, hardcore man. Three cheers for the Iraqi football team!

POPSLet common sense return, please? Alright, I guess this has more of a chance than the "win their hearts, win their minds technique." Shows we are in this for the long haul though. If the libs take the Presidency, I hope they know we can't leave after the sh*t we pulled. We have to put them back on their feet after pulling the rug out from under em. Common curtsy. How good would it look for the states to just fu*cking walk away while they are in a civil war we put them in. Not good at all if you ask me. Hell most of the world don't like Americans as is, lets give em one more reason. Being a flighty fu*k I don't think so. As much as everyone hates to hear this, we are committed to helping them out. Lets just pray the occupation ends when they have a secular democratic government and the ability to defend themselves from their neighbors.

POPSScience policy set by politicians. Great, now you have to appease the political officer of your organization before conducting research. This is wrong on so many levels, no good has ever come from this kind of sh*t.

POPSYou've got to be kidding me. Great for tracking. Bad for firearms companies. Criminals... Don't f*cking care. They will always break the law regardless of how inconvenient you make ownership for a law abiding citizen. Can you rely on the police to be there for you within the seconds it takes a criminal to take your life? (funny no? using fear like our head of state does.)

POPSKeeping the sheeple in check. Great example of anti-gun Nazis being held responsible for their actions by our governments checks and balances. Good news everyone, sometimes the politician actually follow the frame work set for them to work within.
