POPSwebAsyst - Project management & much more Looks like a very nicely designed set of unique in many aspects intranet tools. Can be used together or separately. Very affordable, including limited (but generous) free use. Can be purchased for running on own servers. Looks like the Russians aren't all bad... when it comes to software development at least.

POPS50 Photos of the Jesus Phone (from CES) Here's Jobs' new baby, already with a tainted name (Cisco is suing them as we speak since they hold the trademark) which is likely to change, and guarded by people who will kill anyone trying to fondle it.

POPSNew Look for Your Desktop A photo that could be used for desktop background. Kind of resembles the situation in the world, with a glimpse of hope behind the dark clouds, and an attempt to fly despite them.

POPS4th of July Celebration - Russian-style
The holiday went well today... I got the kids out to see a parade downtown, it was great to see a ton of people, ton of American flags (waving, not burning), lots of smiling faces, dogs, horses, uniforms. The only downer was a group calling themselves 'Vets for Peace', who wore black shirts with white doves. There were about 10 of them, clearly majority non-veterans based on their age, and as much as I wanted to cheer them for the sentiment - them carrying a poster of Bush grinning missing a tooth showed their real agenda, which has nothing to do with peace. But, Americans were there in force, many election candidates from both parties, all being cheered and everyone seemed to have a great time. BBQ at the house followed an annual tradition, with some first class Russian/American shish kabobs (see the photos as proof). It's so nice not to see deathly old men, talking non-sense, and nothing but military parading with a sea of red flags and huge photos of the same deathly old
