POPSFBI, FEMA, move jobs outside 'blast zone' Sincerely hope this is not like the congress taking cipro six weeks in advance of the state sponsored staged anthrax attack. This move must be because they know something. Many wonder when & where the next false flag will occur? Nothing political happens by coinsidence.

POPSWhere do we all stand in Loving our enemies and praying for them? I try to pray for everyone, quite literally. It is my tradition. I thought thats what love of humanity is all about. Starting with my loved ones, I work my way outward in remembering the countless poor, sick, oppressed, persecuted, etc, I try very hard to name every human struggle & I do feel a love for so many I will never meet, and I hope their lives are happy and blessed... If we do not all pray for each other, how can we claim to love thy neighbor? The whole of humanity are our neighbors. Food for thought.

POPSDementia and fish... I love fish anyhow so this is not a problem for me. For those who don't like to eat fish, there are fish oil vitamins available at most health food stores.

POPSDouble Standards and 'Democracy' in the M.E. Democracy does not come at the end of a gun. It's time Bushco learned to respect other peoples choice to elect whom THEY choose, and to govern themselves as they see fit. Bushes talk of 'liberty' is nothing other than lies, double speak and hypocricy most extreme.

POPSVOTING TO SUSPEND GRAVITY I also quite enjoyed the comments at the link. Good points. Food for thought. Men who write unjust laws qualifying their imperial tyranny never last. Mahatma Gandhi Jee said it best: When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall -- think of it, ALWAYS.

POPSMuslims ask to worship at Cordoba Cathedral The group said in their letter: "What we wanted was not to take over that holy place, but to create in it, together with you and other faiths, an ecumenical space unique in the world which would have been of great significance in bringing peace to humanity."

POPSThe World's Mastermind: The Hidden Face of Globalization Much more at the source--very interesting reading! I've heard a little about Argentina and other countries going very left-wing and refusing to go along with globalization as dictated by the major power structure in the world today. This article goes into great detail on this matter.

POPSAvoid Ad Hominem on Clipmarks Having seen this logical fallacy used on Clipmarks several times, I thought it would be a good idea to point it out to everyone so that we can avoid this in the future.

POPSYour cell phone is a "roving bug" According to this report, the FBI can activate a remote tracking and listening device built into every recently-made cell phone without having to modify or handle the phone physically. The only way to defeat the bug is to remove the phone's battery.

POPSU.S. History of Using Torture a very decent & extensive article on the US history on torture from Professor McCoy, the author of "A Question of Torture: CIA Interrogation, from the Cold War to the War on Terror". If this law stands, with its provisions for torture and drumhead justice, then the United States will suffer continuing damage to its moral leadership in the international community. Looking through a glass darkly into the future, Washington may try to return to that convenient contradiction that marked US policy during the Cold War: public compliance with human rights treaties and secret torture in contravention of those same diplomatic conventions. Yet the world is no longer blind to these once-clandestine CIA methods and this attempt at secrecy will likely produce another scandal similar to Abu Ghraib. But next time our protestations of innocence will ring hollow and the damage to US prestige will be even greater.
