POPSContext sensitive answers... I only ran across this today - the web page version is cool too. I like the way it finds the context of the word you have clicked on. Clicking on 'Justified true belief' (in quotes) pops up material on epistemiology. Cool!

POPSeurovision tweets I am not a Eurovision fan. But it is good to see a reporter spotting the potential power of tools like Twitter. And noticing that people have different roles in the ad hoc community which formed. I almost wish I had been following the twittering live, now.

POPSFree will or free won't? A well written (apart from some typos towards the end), balanced and thoughtful piece on Mind/brain and free will/decision making, with a handful of Buddhism thrown in for good measure (which there should be, given the nature of the blog). The only bit which I balked at, but which has a grain of truth, was the comment that the scientists found a particular result because it was the one they wanted to find. Certainly often true, but in this case I am not sure that it is an entirely fair criticism.

POPSSocial search More MeAggregator like goodness, this time suggested by Google. Identifying your social network, and sharing search/exploration results with them, should open up results to people based on their own implicit trust networks. MeAggregator plans to make that trust network more explicit, and learn from user interaction as well as allowing the users to define it.

However, if people like the Archbishop think we should have separate laws for separate groups, can I show my stark hypocrisy and demand a law that says that everyone called Pat must be tithed 10% of the state's total tax revenue? I think that is only fair...

POPSBringing it all together...Digsby This looks like it does a chunk of what we are doing with the MeAggregator(TM) project - but it doesn't include looking at web pages and files as resources, and I don't think it has groups in there either. Still, it will be nice to see when it comes out.
