I hadn't really understood the function of Technorati - have never used it, but heard it mentioned often. This is exactly what blogs should be doing ...

religious fallacy

by Painey  2-15-2009
WHO'S ERECTING STRAW MEN? you mention in the beginning that you haven’t read the arguments against atheism, then you propose to frame your own definition of God, which you then vehemently defend. this is a text book strawman fallacy ... Get off the interent until you've got something rational to say.

WHAT IS IRRATIONAL!!!???? believing that a mythical figure redefined humanity 2000 years ago and that we should still live according to these principles, regardless of any other evidence to the contrary that there might be better ways to live ....

US leading lit publishers old

if this is the case, this could be a problem. how are young people finding the challenge of gaining some of the small market share of these older publishers?

who are lit mags for?
Painey
by Painey  2-12-2009
interesting perspective - ronnie and i were talking about the need for lit mags to reach a wider audience, to be as much for readers as they are for writers. with CLMP's attitude to literature and business though, I guess they do actually back up this claim with audience development.
