POPSWiimote and Mortal Kombat So I'm trying to build a case as to whether the Wii is a novelty or legitimate. With this little paragraph, I become suspicious that the Wiimote isn't all that it's cracked up to be. The good thing, though, is it sounds like there are classic control options that we can take advantage of once the novelty of the Wiimote wears off.

POPSExcersize on the Wii This is a pretty interesting short article from Time Magazine. The picture is the first thing that captured my attention. I had no idea that you could play something like baseball with two active players. Looks pretty fun. And if there are actual health benefits, maybe there's a good reason for getting the console. My only question is, though, is this better than Sony's EyeToy? I'd love to see a comparison of how gaming techniques involving the EyeToy differ from the way the Wii works. I guess it all depends on whether any companies come out with games that use the EyeToy's motion tracking capabilities, though...
