About me
30-year-young afro-american male human living on planet Earth in a city called Richmond in the state of Virginia of the Unites States. So with the demographics out of the way, I could say I've been described as a walking paradox of sorts.

I'm a handsome man married to a gorgeous and jaw-droppingly intelligent woman who, on the daily, enriches my stay on planet far beyond what I'd experience on my own.

Usually when I'm not with my wife, I'm working. I'm a database administrator and application developer on the week days. I'd like to claim that I'm furthering the enhancement of our global society, but truth be told, I pay my bills by working for money making corporations which could never be directly tied to social enhancement. Oh well, at least I did work for a biotech firm for 3 years.

I enjoy many different types of music as you can see on my Last.fm profile. I also enjoy gaming and photographing things I find interesting, which you can see on my Flickr account. And am really trying to find ways to enjoy the web.
Why I use Clipmarks
I use Clipmarks to track information that I find interesting and to leave my notes about that information. I also use it to find interesting information/opinions that the Clipmarks community finds interesting.

And now that I can post a clip to my blog, I've begun to use Clipmarks as a convenient way of collecting the pieces of content that I want to be part of my blog post. This is a very powerful feature in my opinion.

Hilary Clinton's Twitter Friends

So I'm interested to see how the '08 US presidential campaigns play out on Twitter. I figured I'd take snapshots of how many Twitter profiles each candidate befriends. I'll also capture how many people follow the candidates' profiles. I guess the trend I want to figure out is how each of the candidates manage which profiles they befriend. Early on, I befriended and was befriended by John Edwards' Twitter profile. I befriended and was befriended by Barack Obama's Twitter profile shortly before the first Democratic Presidential Debate. My Twitter posts were a little more tame then, so I'm also curious to see how befriended profiles are monitored, if in fact they are. Will friends be dropped depending on how well they represent the candidate's characteristics? Are the Twitter friends even monitored? What's the real point in using Twitter other than a little extra exposure? If you know of any other candidates that are on Twitter, let me know and I'll track them too. I find it som

Obama - On the Issues
Osolage
by Osolage  4-28-2007    4
Okay, maybe it's strange that I'm a pretty web savvy afro-american but haven't yet visited Obama's website. However, though, I've been an Edwards supporter, before Obama, and haven't even really checked out Edwards' site. I guess now is the time after having watched part of the Democratic debate this week and after starting to follow both Edwards and Obama on Twitter. Obama only recently found a presence on Twitter and his only tweet points to his website. So, this morning, I thought I'd take a little time to check his website out. So far, I've looked at his issues page. These are some of the points that I thought were interesting.
