POPSThink I grow increasingly worried about man and his thoughts! When reading or watching the world as it is today, we can see what man has on his mind and unfortunately it is not the good, but the evil in mans mind that is winning. We see the continual search for the better weapons in which to kill each other, the growing hunger and killing of our children, the continuing raping of Mother Earth, with no respite in the future. We must look to our Grandfathers for guidance, however for the People of the Earth and I speak of the Indigenous Peoples who at one time lived and breathed the life of Mother Earth, it will be easier, not so for the others who live for greed with every waking breath. The destruction of man will come from within, so pray to the Great Spirit that the others will come to respect and seek the guidance of our Earth Mother and that of the People of the Earth, before it is to late. The First Peoples of the Americas learned along time ago that Nature is our guide to all things in life, the provider of life, health and nourishment, we need nothing more to live a happy life. The followers of the Red Road, took no more than needed to do this. The Colonists always took more than they needed and gave nothing back. One of the hardest things I have ever tried to do was to unite Native Tribe's. For a few years I worked with 15 different Hereditary Chiefs and Headmen, and I found that when dealing with the Federal Government of Canada, they listened to what was being said to them. This would never happen with one Chief or with Elected Chiefs and Councils under the Indian Act. This is a proven fact. One Hereditary Chief has written to the Government and even over a year had not heard from them. I wrote one letter and received an answer before a week, it was amazing what the power of unity could do. In the past year I have seen some of that unity with the Aboriginal Peoples of Canada, but this is still not enough, there are some many out there who are still under the thumb of the Colonial Government, held there by greed a learned thing from when the Government

The Great Spirit has placed everything on earth that man, animal and plants would ever need to survive, it is only man that takes more than he needs, most time giving nothing back to the earth. The animals and plants have been exploited by man for hundreds of years, I would say thousands, but that would be inaccurate. The white man has corrupted and devastated the First Peoples of this world so much in the past (600) six hundred years, that even the majority of them have lost their understanding of this world.
