POPSReligion We all know of good and evil, the Indigenous Peoples believe in a Creator who placed us here to look after our mother the earth, so why is it that the others use religion for self gain or for destruction of other who do not believe in God, as they do? Puzzling? Not really, the Indigenous People believe we are here not for our selves, but for our children and their children, to care for Mother Earth, to live in harmony with all things and all peoples, we are still wondering what the others were put here for? POPSThink I grow increasingly worried about man and his thoughts! When reading or watching the world as it is today, we can see what man has on his mind and unfortunately it is not the good, but the evil in mans mind that is winning. We see the continual search for the better weapons in which to kill each other, the growing hunger and killing of our children, the continuing raping of Mother Earth, with no respite in the future. We must look to our Grandfathers for guidance, however for the People of the Earth and I speak of the Indigenous Peoples who at one time lived and breathed the life of Mother Earth, it will be easier, not so for the others who live for greed with every waking breath. The destruction of man will come from within, so pray to the Great Spirit that the others will come to respect and seek the guidance of our Earth Mother and that of the People of the Earth, before it is to late. POPSEducation Education is vital for our survival, how ever the education provided is not up to standards with the rest of the world, you see the poor education programs provided to the Native communities lags far behind, for a reason, it's just another way the governments use to keep the Indigenous people under their control. POPSChanges Nature, only the Great Spirit can control, something we humans would love to be able to control, as we seem to love to control everything around us. The First Peoples of the Americas learned along time ago that Nature is our guide to all things in life, the provider of life, health and nourishment, we need nothing more to live a happy life. The followers of the Red Road, took no more than needed to do this. The Colonists always took more than they needed and gave nothing back. We are only what we believe we are, not what others think of us, but we must always remember in this life we are at the mercy of nature the one thing we cannot control. Cougar
