POPSMore bad news for alarmists For example, the recent summary by Fred Singer and 22 expert contributors to “Nature, Not Human Activity, Rules the Climate” makes some extraordinary statements about computer models. (In addition to the many excellent contributors, this summary also contains 167 references to the scientific literature). This is important since computer models are being improperly, yet extensively, used by state legislatures as the basis of policies for greenhouse gas mitigation, rather than using actual climate data taken from the real world. These statements include: Computer models do not consider variations of irradiance and magnetic fields of the sun Computer models do not accurately model the role of clouds Computer models do not simulate a possible negative feedback from water vapor Computer models do not explain many features of the Earth’s observed climate. Computer models cannot produce reliable predictions of regional climate change.

POPSHumorous Dissent I realize that the cameras are "serious business", but they are showing up everywhere. I admit that even I feel a little childish (the point, maybe?) around these things, even when I go up to my ATM (I always smile and stick out my tongue, on purpose). These guys take dissent to a whole 'nother level. At least the guys watching the cameras have something entertaining to look at.

POPSFirst Stage of Global Cooling During 2008/09 Mr. Dilley of Global Weather Oscillations has found seven different types of recurring gravitational cycles ranging from the very warm 460,000 year cycle down to a 230 year recurring global warming cycle. All of the gravitational cycles coincide nearly 100 percent with 2200 global warming events during the past half million years. This includes the earth’s current warming cycle which began around the year 1900, and the first stage of global cooling that will begin during 2008 and 2009.

Are you gonna believe your lyin' eyes? I live on a military post and work for soldiers and their spouses...haven't heard anyone yet say how they support the decider. I have seen a lot of families torn apart by the Iraq War (not just deaths--which I know people who have lost loved ones, but also a large number of divorces). I've seen a lot of soldiers and their wives crying and cussing about being redeployed. I've even been to one of the decider's press conferences...sat close enough to lob spitballs at 'im. No one I was sitting around was "cheering" then, either (maybe because attendance was "mandatory" for some of them and at least, historical, for most) and that was three years ago. I was only there because I was the Media Director for the Libertarian Party in CO at the time. My credentials as a military spouse was all the press pass that I needed). Soldiers are re-enlisting because most other good paying jobs went bye-bye. So you can't point to that to PROVE "accept
