POPSDaily Christian Quote -- William P. White Psalm 33:1-3 1 Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful. 2 Praise the LORD with the harp; Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. 3 Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy. Luke 4:4 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’” Luke 11:28 28 But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” I don't know about you, but I like heavenly music. I love harmony. In today's Christian churches we need harmony & unity.

POPSRejected by His own. The entire scripture was too long to post here. Go and read the full scripture to get all of it. However, as the title notes, Jesus was rejected by his own. They questioned who He was and didn't believe Him. Will you reject Jesus too? I hope not. The consequences of that will be an eternity in hell with torment. I do not wish that on any soul. Please; if you haven't accepted Christ as your savior I implore you to do so before it's too late. You can find out how by going here: http://www.godssimpleplan.org/gsps-english-print.html and find a bible preaching & teaching place to fellowship and grow in the Lord.

POPSMercy Nothing is so distressing to the contrite believer, as a fear or sense of the Divine displeasure, or of sin in his heart. Sin is the sickness of the soul; pardoning mercy heals it, renewing grace heals it, and for this spiritual healing we should be more earnest than for bodily health. I feel this way often. And as the commentary says I need to be more earnest than bodily healing. I need spiritual healing. How about you?

POPSEnticing This reminds me of how the enemy works to temp and entice us to fall under his control. Here's some scripture that will support my thoughts: James 1:12-13 12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. 13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. Garfield's master, John, is good at holding out on Garfield. Are you good at holding out on the enemy, satan?

POPSDaily Christian Quote -- Randy Alcorn Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. As the scripture says, focus, patience & obedience to the Lord. When we lose focus we stray. Have you lost focus? Are you straying? Look up to God, bring your focus back to HIM. As HE says, come as you are.

POPSGood Samaritan Click on the beliefnet link to read entire scripture. It wouldn't all fit here. How often have you turned and looked the other way when someone needed help? I've done it too. However, I try very hard now to help if someone is in desperate need. What do you do?
