I am a Teton Lakota (Sioux) of the Mni Kwoju band and a direct descendant of a survivor (there were a handful) of the Wounded Knee massacre of 1890 by the 7th Cavalry. My Great-Grandmother went into the day of quiet with straight eyes on the day before I was born in 1948. She was 100 years old. I carry her blood with respect and amazement.

You clipmarkers find more interesting things than I can keep up with. I hope I can make a worthy contribution now and then.
