POPSCloud control - Part 2 Isn't the UK government an inadvertant leader in this kind of outsourcing of IT knowledge? The results have been disastrous in terms of quality of service, vastly inflated costs and lack of meaningful innovation.

POPSSocial network sites slow Google The problem with social networking is that it lacks purpose. Now constructive collaboration will be something else. As I have said many times to Eric and Adam, Clipmarks is missing a trick, here. Constructive collaboration is what our Open Intelligence site will be all about. What we will be saying to Google is that if you have to search for it, then it is already too late.

POPSThe Facebook betrayal - users revolt over advertising sell-out Would Clipmarks ever be so crass? If what Clippers clipped and popped was content analysed, it would be a gold mine for marketing companies. Do Forbes know this? Such an analysis would be very useful and ethical of the individuals names were stripped from the data. Marketers and pollsters would still get a unique picture of what people are interested in.

POPSWill Google's Greed Ruin the Internet? Best not to use Google at all. I like Copernic better anyway. Besides the whole information search / retrieval paradigm is almost over to be replaced by information flow monitoring paradigm making Google's technology obsolete at a stroke.

POPSFirst Clipmarks Directory (JICWyllie’s Clips) This clip is only the framework for the directory. For the actual terms to use, please go to the trendmonitor2 source and search with the words there. Each of the categories will updated with new clips. New categories will be created as needed. POPSOnline Customized Ads Move a Step Closer I wonder what the rates will be? If they were based on a percentage per purchase i.e. small commission, then it would be pretty neat. It is possible to imagine information markets working in this way. Here's the raw search free. Here's the value added bit for a small fee

POPSWikipedia: For your information If Clipmarkers could form into groups, like Wikipedians, they could do to the media what Wikipedia did to encyclopaedias. But then they would have to get serious. Fun is fine. Work can be fun, too. The difference is perhaps having a clear purpose.

POPSGolden ratio This is the ratio which makes Georgian architecture so magical. Some say Pythagorus was a magician. The real magus.
