When money is short, its the time to stop spending (and borrowing), outside absolute necessities. Spend quality time on family and neighbors. Till some earth near you. Make it more fertile. Engage with nature.

POPSHarold Bloom: 'What We Are Seeing Is the Fall of America' He sounds a lot like H G Wells in "A Man at the End of his Tether." I fear Facebook and (I fear) increasingly Clipmarks are both guilty of promoting a culture of celebrity and 'media-ocrity' which Harold Bloom abhors. It is regrettable because, as I have said before, Clipmarks (and so many of its Clippers) are capable of a higher quality of public attention to what matters.
