POPS"Body Snatchers Mix" at Tuwa's Shanty a fine eclectic selection Check out the "Body Snatchers Mix" at Tuwa's Shanty. I'm not a horror film fan, in fact I can't stand them, and I'm puzzled as to what most of this eclectic mix of great music has to do with them. If you are a fan of this genre you will likely like the commentary, but regardless, if you like good music you're bound to find something, if not a lot, to your liking. Everything from Billie Holliday, to Oingo Boingo, to Muddy Waters, to Django Reinhardt, to Waylon Jennings, to Artie Shaw, to Bo Diddley, and much more. For a year or so I was linking to the tunes at Tuwa's Shanty before noiticing the request to not do so. That's the reason no links here. Go to the site. Mp3s available for a limited time, so get em while they're hot.

POPSLady Shakara - Fela Kuti The early 70’s sound of Fela and Africa 70 feature Fela on vocals, sax and keyboards, and are marked by long, polyrhythmic grooves. The sound, which Fela christened “afrobeat” is marked by multiple guitar lines, African and western percussion, and powerful horn lines. More about Fela at source.

POPSSlim Dusty Not normally a big fan of this kind of music, but the tragic situation depicted in Slim's, " A Pub With No Beer ", had me sobbing like a NancyBoy.
