POPSTasty Ride I want a sedan version, so people don't think I'm compensating for anything.

POPSHow Blindness Affects the Sighted Instead of continuing to move forward with quiet automobiles, the NFB wants to burden everyone around them with unnecessary noise. Has anyone proposed some type of solution that doesn't move us backwards in noise pollution, or reduce the enjoyment of the quiet cabin a hybrid owner enjoys? How about a semi-directional wireless transmitter of some sort which people could opt to buy a receiver for? The system could indicate approximate distance, direction and speed of traffic. Heck, the receiver could be added to premium headphones or digital music players and joggers/cyclists could buy them, too. Everyone wins and no one is unnecessarily, or unwillingly, burdened.

POPSFeds Must Be Stopped Where in the Constitution does the EPA have the power to do this? I would be happy to have someone explain it to me. If auto makers won't, or can't, meet the more stringent state guidelines, then they just won't sell cars in those states. One of two things will happen. Either the citizens of those states will not be able to handle not being able to purchase new vehicles, and change their laws appropriately; or the auto makers will say, "Crap! We lose too much money not having those markets. We better get serious and exceed the federal regs by complying w/ the tightest state regulation so everyone's happy." Am I being unreasonable?
