POPSHitler's bible "Honour God and believe in him wholeheartedly. Seek out the peace of God. Avoid all hypocrisy. Holy is your health and life! Holy is your wellbeing and honour! Holy is your truth and fidelity! Honour your father and mother ? your children are your aid and your example. Keep the blood pure and your honour holy! Maintain and multiply the heritage of your forefathers. Always be ready to help and to forgive. Honour your Fuehrer and master! Joyously serve the people with work and sacrifice. That is what God wants from us!" More important for Hitler, however, was the eradication of Jewish words, including Hallelulja, Jehova and even Jerusalem ? it was instead termed the ? the eternal city of God.? "The book will have to serve the fight against the immortal Jewish enemy!" said Hitler in a memorandum to the institute in Eisenach.

POPSNancy Pelosi tries to spin meeting with Pope Benedict “the Church’s consistent teaching on the dignity of human life from conception until natural death, which enjoin all Catholics, and especially legislators, jurists, and those responsible for the common good of society, to work in cooperation with all men and women of good will in creating a just system of laws capable of protecting human life at all stages of development.” Weigel adds that even though President Obama is not Catholic, “he should understand that he will get the same message if, as expected, he meets with His Holiness later this year.”

POPSAtheists Need Better Liturgists "Both meanings are very suitable for the presentation and contemplation of Christian doctrine and there are many more meanings to these Christian symbols. A good symbol also requires no label, unlike the atheist hairdryer labeled "Reason". The symbol for "Reason" should be obvious and powerful enough that it requires no label. But there is no clear connection between a hairdryer and "Reason". Someone who labels things is more of a sloppy editorial cartoonist than a powerful image maker. Isn't that one reason we hated those 70s felt banners? Leaving that aside, what does a hairdryer do? It blows hot air. Umm, on second thought maybe they picked a revealing symbol for atheism after all."

POPSNo God Condones What? The only way to explain it is to understand the intellectual environment, called postmodernism, in which President Obama and his peers have been raised. Generations of Americans have now been taught that truth is subjective. You have your truth, I have mine. And, even worse, I can’t “inflict” my version of truth on you. The law of non-contradiction has been suspended.

POPSAtheists Sue to Remove "In God We Trust" ..."This lawsuit is another attempt by liberal activists to rewrite history and deny that America's Judeo-Christian heritage is an essential foundation stone of our great nation," said Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.

POPSConfessions of a Lapsed Atheist "And enlightened as they are, they've come up with quite the pretense for justifying the righteousness of their bigotry: they are defending the vision of our Founding Fathers from a dominionist conspiracy to establish Christianity as the state religion." "You see, for liberal Atheists, the only thing worse than religion is the Religious Right, a term they use to encompass all Christian conservatives. And what better way to siphon fuel from the Religious Right than to convince Americans that the government is perpetually on the verge of becoming a theocracy? " "But above all, Atheists stoke fear among religious and nonreligious alike that conservatives view government as a tool to force religion down your throat."

POPSCatholic Nurse Forced to Perform Abortion "Remember, to the left abortion is a right. And your religion can't preclude others from exercising their rights. Your religion can't prevent some from having free speech or the right to assemble. They see abortion as the same thing. If they have their way, stories of health care workers being ordered to perform abortions will be an everyday occurence.."

POPSThe Church must be one St. Cyprian (c. 250AD) - "God is one and Christ in one, and one is His Church, and the faith is one, and His people welded together by the glue of concord into a solid unity of body. Unity cannot be rent asunder, nor can the one body of the Church, through the division of its structure, be divided into separate pieces." (On the Unity of the Church, 23) Tertullian (c. 197AD) - "We are a society with a single religious feeling, a single unity of discipline, a single bond of hope," (Apology 39, 1) St. Hilary (c. 4th century) - "In the Scriptures our people are shown to be made one, so that just as many grains collected into one and ground and mingled together, make one loaf, so in Christ, who is the heavenly bread, we know there is one holy, in which our whole company is joined and united" (Treatise 62, 13)

POPSFormer Fetus Now Pro-Choice He said the fetal community is unanimously pro-life but he said he's spoken to other fetuses who were recently born and many are reconsidering their stand on the issue. "After you come out, abortion isn't really that big a deal anymore. I think euthanasia, child abuse, and the lack of Chuck E Cheese's are the issues of the day."

POPSThe Graying of Abortionists "Of course Salon.com says this is because of anti-abortion "terrorism" like the murder of Dr. Tiller last week. But I'm pretty sure this drop off didn't start last Sunday. And what this actually shows is that societal pressures are working. So that's the good news. The bad news is that abortion is a multi-million dollar industry and as long as they're paying, some shell of a human with an online medical degree will step up and agree to rip babies limb from limb for money. And when these hacks hurt women with botched abortions Salon.com, I'm sure, will blame you. That's right. You for stigmatizing abortion and making it so difficult to fill those spots. "

POPSAbortion and Orwell It is interesting, in the language of distortion, to note the population that is the focus of this public service. Though reporting that abortion rates have risen among poor and low-income women, the program sponsor at the University of California admits that the goal of the pilot project is to expand abortion practice and access, "particularly in underserved areas." The project director, an attorney, apparently believes that the underserved populations of California-overwhelmingly Latino and African-American-would benefit from even higher rates of abortion: "It will create providers in underserved areas that need them the most...and integrate abortion services into previously existing health care networks." At least this doublespeak is consistent with the stated goals of Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger: "Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."
