POPSThe Real Fat Cats Are Not on Wall Street Why should PUBLIC Employees make almost twice as much as their private sector counterparts? After all it is OUR MONEY they are using to pay themselves. Think about it the next time our taxes are increased. They cry POVERTY and NO MONEY and yet they continue to HIRE new employees and increase their pay rate at twice the inflation rate. When was the last time you got a pay raise at TWICE the inflation rate? Do you get an automatic COST OF LIVING increase every year? I think not. Time to give all these public employees pink slips. These public employees are not exactly feeding from the dumpsters around town either. They are treating themselves to the best of everything.

Okay folks it is time for some straight talk. We the people need to take back our country from the thieves and robber barons occupying capital hill. We can not longer sit back and allow this outrageous behavior to continue. We need to get to the polls and vote out all the incumbents and replace them with FISCAL conservatives and strict constitutional candidates. This country was made great by adhering to the founding principles outlined in the Constitution which safeguards the rights of the citizenry, and restricts the powers of the federal government. Today as we watch the daily newscasts we are being assalted by an out of control federal government with an insatiable appetite for more and more of our hard earned money which they squander on useless pork barrel projects designed to buy votes and nothing else. IN addition they continually vote themselves hefty pay increases and benefit packages and then give us the bill. It is high time congress gets a pay cut!

POPSPostal Employees Paid to Do Nothing I do not know about where you work, but where I work when the company does not have any work for me I do not work and I do not get paid. Unless of course I happen to qualify for unemployment benefits which pays me about 1/3 of what I would make if I actually worked. To add insult to injury, the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is now going to BAIL OUT the post office and FORCE US TO PAY these idle workers OUT OF OUR HARD EARNED MONEY. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! And then we wonder why taxes continue to climb while those of us who actually make this country work continue to have to cut back and struggle to make ends meet.

I want one of those big old gas guzzlers that the President drives. If Ms Pelosi can fly around in a company jet, and the President can drive around in his fleet of SUV's then AS A MAJOR SHAREHOLDER IN GOVERNMENT motors SO CAN I. POPSGovernment Program Aimed at Teen Pregnacy Fails Once again the enlightened and educated amongst us prove once again that COMMON SENSE has died. These government programs in England and in New York are destined to fail because of the very foundation they are attempting to build upon. Instead of teaching these AT RISK young ladies about self-esteem, and the virtues of a chaste lifestyle, they reason that since these girls are going to have sex anyway we might as well teach them about sex. And like every other government mandated program IT FAILED! Not only did it fail it FAILED miserably.The truth is it made the matter worse than if they would have left the girls alone. Sound familiar?

POPSNPR Silences Christian Speech Freedom of speech. Not if you happen to speak in religious tones. This really does not come as any surprise to me. This is the first step in silencing any DISSENTING speech against an out of control government. NPR is owned by THE TAXPAYERS of which Christians are a part. Therefore all tax payers should be represented and not just those who happen to speak the same language as the government that controls them. Free speech means just that. And when it comes to radio you can always turn the dial if you do not like what you are listening to which is exactly what I am going to do with NPR turn the dial off.

When is the American public going to wake up. It is time we call for some REAL SUBSTANCE and not Rhetoric. He talks a good game but like most of Obama's other policies this is a graphical representation of how lame Obama's attempts really are to address any real problems.

POPSGov. Hand-outs Bankrupting Arizona Another example of what happens when too many people look to government for give me's. They come to the state house with the hands out and not with their sleeves rolled up. Instead of offering to work to produce wealth they are asking that it be redistributed. This sounds much like GM to me. Workers come to management and say give me. Management gives in and gives until they can not give anymore. With the government passing laws that does not promote fiscal responsibility it only compounds the problem. But sooner or later it comes time to pay the piper. Watch out folks this same crisis is spreading across this land at an alarming rate. There is a wild fire burning out of control. A fire extinguisher is not going to stop this inferno.

POPSGovernment Bailouts Unconstitutional, Well Sorta.. Up until the new deal Constitutional limitations were strictly enforced upon congress. However Roosevelt grew angry when told that he did not have the authority to enact all these government regulations and interventions into the private sector. His response was to replace these aging constructionist Supreme court judges with ardent NEW DEAL supporters and the rest like they say is history. No longer was it necessary to actually write legislation that had to be voted upon and approved through the regular democratic process, now all that needed to be done was for the Supreme court to legislate the Presidents objectives from the bench. And then congress would have to enact law accordingly. AFTER ALL who could argue with the SUPREME COURT? Does any of this sound familiar? Although the constitution strictly limited governmental powers Roosevelt found a way around the constitution. Lawlessness always finds a way to circumvent the law to justify their lawlessness.

Since being elected America has indeed gone in a new direction STRAIGHT DOWN. The Dow has gone down, consumer confidence has gone down,m retirement plans have gone down, employment has gone down, and the dollar has gone down in value. Way to go Barak. You surely are bringing America CHANGE. Pocket change. To be fair some things have gone up as well. DEFICIT GOVERNMENT SPENDING has gone through the roof. And before long TAXES will be sure to go up. The mission statement of the ACLU states: The mission of the ACLU is to preserve all of these protections and guarantees: Your First Amendment rights - freedom of speech, association and assembly; freedom of the press, and freedom of religion. POPSHow Government Regulation effects oil prices at the pump As is usually the case with government intervention into private enterprise the unexpected results are usually far worse than the original problem congress set out to solve. Doesn't anybody study history anymore? It was not that long ago that the same ideas were floating around congress during the Carter years. Anyone remember the odd even gas days and the long lines at the pumps because of the government forced oil shortages of the 70's Among other mistakes from that period, the government increased the taxes levied on domestic oil producers, as if that would somehow help. The result was “reduced domestic oil production from between 3 and 6 percent, and increased oil imports from between 8 and 16 percent.” The government also instituted price controls, which only served to create the notorious gas shortages of that era. Yes, price controls meant consumers could get cheaper gas — but only after waiting in long gas lines and only if stations didn’t run out first.

HOLD ON TIGHTER to your wallets ladies and gentlemen the government has just told us HOW MUCH MONEY they are going to take from us. 3 trillion dollars. Now that is a lot of hamburgers. That is more than it would cost to buy a small country. HELL we could have bought IRAQ for that money. This is insane. If the government had to EARN that much money I wonder what the budget would look like then?
