POPSSalad Bar Christianity This is just another example of a man-made god. Taking the parts we like from all religious practices and mixing them together to form a hodgepodge of beliefs that Jesus warned against. Jesus declared unashamedly that he was the way the truth and the life not just one of many. Man loves to remake God into their own image, changing the absolute rightness of God for a rightness that suits each individual. The salad bar analogy works good here because the tendency of people is to take what they like and leave what they do not like. Most times it is the food that is best for us that we leave on the salad bar.

POPSGays Yeah, God Nea, These two stands as beacons to the trend in our society to normalize that which is abnormal and demonize that which is holy. Or in other words, blaspheme that which is good and right and uphold as honorable that which is unholy and perverse. Obviously there is an "AGENDA" to promote homosexual causes across our land via the US congress while at the same time there is another "AGENDA" to oppose any movement of God across this nation. If your Gay we say YEAH if your Christian we say Nea. And then we wonder why our country is in a mess?

POPSChurches Tackling Migration Issue What should be the churches stance on "illegal" immigration? Should the church readily accept any and all comers regardless of national state or origin? Is it the duty of law abiding church citizen's to police the ranks of their members new and old? Is immigration even an issue for the church to discuss?

POPSSurvey Says: Church is fluid has no sticking power More and more I am seeing the degrading of religious influence in our culture. Churches are becoming less and less relevant in today's fast moving society. There are so many other forces at work on an average family that finding time for church is not high on the list of things to do today. In addition church attendance is not a high priority on most peoples goals and future planning. What say you?

POPSScriptures are now an amusement park attraction How sad it is to once again see the sacred word of God being depicted as an amusement park attraction. Once was not enough now apparently it is fashionable to create amusement parks in the name of Christianity. I guess this really should not be so surprising considering a good bit of televised religion is nothing more then infomercials and religious entertainment anyway. Perhaps the churches should start charging admission to get inside to witness the great adventures of God up close and personal. Why not just turn the church houses into museums or tourist attractions?

POPSChristians are to blame for failings in public schools Could it be that mindless, idiotic writers of these editorial comments are the real devils? They mouth empty words and pontificate on matters they know absolutely nothing about in a vane attempt to appear informed and enlightened. Even a fool is considered wise if he keeps his mouth shut but once he starts to orate he removes all doubt about it.

POPSThe Deadly Virus of Celebrity Christianity Let all who are without money come and drink from the fountain freely without cost. The gospel if Jesus Christ is free for all. It costs you nothing yet it is not free. It does not require a large bank account to acquire yet it is not cheap. The only requirement to receiving the Gospel is to believe on Jesus Christ and the One who sent Him.

POPSRosie Challenged to defend anti-Christian hate speech Heck if people can silence the boorish Imus perhaps people can silence the loud mouth Rosie. But as long as Rosie only bashes Bush and Christians perhaps no one will say anything. She may even get a pass on Jew bashing but lets see if she can get away with 'nappy headed hos' shall we?

POPSAre Homosexuals Born that way? No matter what the sin is we are all responsible for our actions before God. To say the devil made me do it of I can't help myself does not negate our responsibility before God to live righteously in an unrighteous world. How then are we to live? What is required of each of us? It would appear in our society where the victim mentality runs rampant we have a tendency to dismiss all our foibles and fallacies on forces beyond our control. It is true that there are forces at work in our lives we may not be aware of but that does not excuse us when we behave badly. Accepting the fact that we are LOST without hope without a savior is the first step in living rightly in an mixed-up world. Turn towards Christ and away from sin and you shall live.

POPSIs Jesus the Only Savior? Today many question the idea that there is only one way to heaven (or that Christianity is the only true faith) -- even some people who identify themselves as Christians. In a world where we are likely to have neighbors of differing faiths, to profess Jesus as the only Savior may be viewed as arrogance and intolerance. Religious "pluralism" is gaining popularity. Many believe that there are many ways to salvation and that the biblical account of Jesus only is at best misquided and at worse bigoted. What do you think?

POPSFinally a church for anyone and everyone sinners most welcomed Jesus did say whosoever will may come but He also said you must loose your life in order to save it, He also said you must take up your cross and follow Jesus. He also said that your right living should exceed the right living employed by the pharasees. He said that you must be born again, have a change of heart and everything would be made new. Remaining as you are when you come is not what Jesus had in mind when He died on the cross. IF there was no need for a CHANGE on one's manner of living then Jesus wasted a whole lot of time coming to earth and allowing Himself to be put to death for it was not neccessary, all we need to do is LOVE EVERYONE even the evil ones and all will be well. I think not. But this is only a view from the eaglesnest http://eagleviews.org
