POPSLiberal Christians Separation of Church and State is a MUST! Without this separation is to go against the Constitution and integrating politics and religion into one entity is communistic.

POPSQuaker Earth Care Witness/religion Along my path orf finding spirituality, I believe in this organization and faith. Again, I am an Eclectic Christian and am not bound to one organized religion. I believe in spirituality, which for me includes The United Church Of Christ, Liberal Quakerism, Orthodox Quakerism, mystisism and earth based reverance that celebrates God's creation. The use of crystals and other pagan / new age methods is not outside my life's journey. Christ abhored strict adherance to the customary Jewish Law. All are now free!

POPSI AM WHO I AM A clear message to all those fundamentalist Christians and bigots that claim being gay is a sin. Ignorance is the beginning of hate and hate is not a family value!

POPSThoughts About Jesus I believe that Jesus would encourage people to build their faith upon love of God and others in whatever manner one selects or is drawn to. I see nothing wrong with being an Eclectic Christian or Christo Pagan. The combining of the spiritual outweighs the formalities of following rigid laws that Jesus taught were impossible to keep to obtain God's grace.

POPSChristmas or Xmas? I've noticed that a lot of Christians really have a problem with using the abbreviated for of Christmas (Xmas). I questioned it myself until I found the above information.

POPSRespect All Religions-Learn To Create Your Own I believe in the aspect of respecting all people's religions and faiths. I do not believe one religion has the right to intrude on others faiths or beliefs. We are all here as one people and while here we are trying to commune with our god, goddess, gods, saints, etc. Respect for others beliefs is a way of respecting your own beliefs or non-beliefs. Again, I cannot emphasize enough that we should all celebrate diversity! I integrate smudging and the burning of incense when I pray. I also find reverence in nature and the Shamanic views. I am a Christian but do not believe we have to adhere to traditions. When you pray, it is a deeply personal thing and objects and images that mean a lot to you should be integrated into the ritual/time of prayer. This makes more sense than repeating words or phrases that are not meaningful to you. I believe my God wants me to use my own mind when worshiping and at prayer.

POPSGLBT Christian Flag; "So All Might Be One" read remarks You are as God created you, be it straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, all races and nationalities, and more. (See video below regarding God Of Love). To me, the multi-colored flag symbolizes the many differences amongst the people of this world. We are a mix by God's doing. We are His True Colors. I view this flag as a flag for ALL people truly seeking God and His will in their life; bringing all together "So That All May Be One". God Bless and Peace unto you! Let us grasp the truth and total concept of variety and diversity. Amen! 'THE CHILDREN ARE FREE!'

POPSFred Phelps, Westboro Baptist Get Slammed! It's about time this bastard got some comeuppance! Phelps takes homophobia to extremes. It's one thing to disapprove of or publicly denounce homosexuality, but Phelps and his family blame gays for everything from the decline of western civilization to yesterday's heartburn. I can think of no better example of religion perverted by hate. This is a real test in my belief in Voltaire’s quote, “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”. At times like this, I prefer Tom Stoppard’s version: “I agree with everything you say, but I would attack to the death your right to say it.” In this case, it’s probably best to let Phelps et. al. continue to show the world what asses they are. I can’t imagine any reasonable person, left, right, conservative or liberal, agreeing with Westboro Baptist’s brand of venom. In case you're not familiar with the Phelps clan, check out some of the links in the clip.
