POPSTeaching hate - Proof ignorance exists among parents This photo and others like it make me very angry. Anger towards the parents that are using their children to promote hate and intolerance. Bigotry and hate are yet alive and well in our society and we need to ban together to aid in eliminating it. The photo is sad. The photo is a lie. I can hear Jesus now saying, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." And I am sure that these children have no clue what they are depicting by wearing these (rags) shirts. Shame on the parents or guardians of them! POP ME IF YOU AGREE!

POPS"THE HOMOSEXUAL LIFESTYLE" If only many people understood the lives of GLBT people. We are no different from other people. Granted, there is good and bad in every person, straight or gay. Most evangelicals focus on the what they believe to be the bad aspects of the GLBT community. This focus is broad casted to society and then society takes that image and builds their conclusions of GLBT people, causing much misconceptions. If only they knew that the majority of us live normal, everyday lives. Many cannot be detected unless they told their sexual preference. Share the knowledge! POPSMy cousin, killed in plane crash, read remarks This clip is extra special to me due to the fact that it pertains to my cousin, Theodore Parker III and his career in helping to save traces of rainforest in Bolivia and Peru. Ted was killed in a small airplane crash while conducting field research in South America. Ted's work is yet valued today to science and he is missed greatly.

POPSFred Phelps, Westboro Baptist Get Slammed! It's about time this bastard got some comeuppance! Phelps takes homophobia to extremes. It's one thing to disapprove of or publicly denounce homosexuality, but Phelps and his family blame gays for everything from the decline of western civilization to yesterday's heartburn. I can think of no better example of religion perverted by hate. This is a real test in my belief in Voltaire’s quote, “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”. At times like this, I prefer Tom Stoppard’s version: “I agree with everything you say, but I would attack to the death your right to say it.” In this case, it’s probably best to let Phelps et. al. continue to show the world what asses they are. I can’t imagine any reasonable person, left, right, conservative or liberal, agreeing with Westboro Baptist’s brand of venom. POPSFundamentalist Christians; A point of view I agree with precepts that Fundamentalist Christians are trying to impose their standards of morality upon the whole of the United States, causing division. The concept of creationism and evolution is a personal decision among all people and each person's beliefs should be respected. Remember, separation of church and state!! Freedom to believe one theory is the right of all people! Fundamentalism is out of control with their agenda to push their beliefs upon others and integrate it into the Federal Government, State Government, Local Government causing great conflict and much harm on society.
