POPSYour tax dollars at work (methinks 'tis well worth it) Hey just a little over 20 minutes before the New Horizons probe makes it's closest approach to Jupiter and gets a big 9K MPH speed boost (on top of something like 47,000 MPH already) to help it head out to Pluto. Before you get too excited, data won't be back until around noon tomorrow and that means no photographs until sometime thereafter. Still, to me it's exciting to think about where it is right now.

POPSClipmarks named Top 5 Web Service of 2006 by PC Magazine This is a great honor!! Thank you to everyone who has helped make this such a great year. I truly feel that Clipmarks is a special place on the web...and it's because of the people who clip and share interesting things they find during their journey on the web. So, this award goes to all of us...the people who clip the best of the web, the people who pop and comment on those clips and the people who simply love to read it all. Thank you and congrats to everyone!

POPSNoah's Ark As I began reading this I suddenly heard the voice of Leonard Nimoy in my head as narrator (forget that Leonard David wrote the story, completely coincidental), what was that hokey documentary show he provided the voice for from the early 80s?
