POPSRare Images of the War The US military has done an excellent job of censoring images like these. Perhaps if they hadn't been so skilled at denying free speech, support for the war in Iraq would have declined sooner rather than later. By the way, you are allowed to react to these images with your emotions. That's what makes you fully human. Don't let anyone tell you that you should view them solely from the cold aspect of reason. Such people are only censors of a different sort. They would censor your feelings.

POPSBush & McCain Move Toward Obama's Position on Iraq Troop Withdraw Within a week's time, Bush comes out in favor of a quasi-diplomatic recognition of the Iranian government and now a "time horizon" for withdrawing troops from Iraq. In both cases, John McCain signs onto the ideas and in both cases they play in the same ballpark of Barack Obama's positions. Clearly, Obama and his views are winning the argument.

POPSChuck Hagel to Join Obama on Trip to Europe & Middle East Sen. Chuck Hagel (R) will join Obama on his trip. Some have advocated for an Obama Hagel ticket in November, arguing that such an historic ticket would be the ultimate sign that Obama intends to be the coalition building President he has promised. One thing is certain: By placing a Republican on the ticket, Obama could shave off many Republican votes, especially those already disgruntled with McCain, and and almost certainly defeat McCain in November in a rout.

POPSOkay, Then, Let's All Say It Together: IMPEACH! If they lied to Congress and the American people, then impeach them. If lying about a BJ is impeachable, then lying about the reasons for going to a ruinous war ought to be impeachable. This is not complicated.

POPSAl-Sadr Embarasses US What's Wrong this Picture? The Bush administration negotiates this deal behind closed door, only publicly refers to its terms during the negotiation in "vague" terms, and tells the elected members of Congress it's not their affair and he doesn't need their approval. Yet here is an Iraq Islamic cleric calling for a referendum on the agreement, public protests against it, a media drive opposing it and, if need be, a petition drive to give the people of Iraq a voice on the agreement. How embarrassing for us in the United States. This Islamic theocrat is actually more democratic and transparent than George Bush. If Al Sadr has his way, the Iraqi people will have more say on the US occupation of Iraq than we will. And we liberated them to be like us? LOL!!!

POPSMcCain Says Obama Wants to Surrender This is the beautiful thing about McCain. He loves the gutter. He likes being mean. Already he is dancing on the edge of it and the race hasn't even begun to heat up. Just wait until this race gets more intense. McCain won't be able to resist his addiction to verbally abusing people. He'll lose control and Obama will win big.

POPSMore Soldiers Might Die from Suicide Than Combat This is a remarkable accomplishment for George Bush. He's actually managed to make surviving combat riskier than being in it. What next? Will soldiers at the end of their tours say, :"Whatever you do, please don't send me home!"

POPSRove Tries to Rewrite History about Iraq War Rove actually peddles the idea that the Iraq war resolution wasn't a Bush administration initiative. Rather, it was a Congressional one by the Democrats. Clearly, the GOP is feeling nervous about how the war will hurt them in November and they want to spin it as much as possible as the Democrat's fault.

POPSMcCain Taking Trip During Campaign You'd think that someone who was running to be President of the American people would stay in the US during the campaign. But John McCain will spend his time on his sole passion: foreign affairs.
