POPSMcCain Lies About Obama's P:osition on Taxes Obama wants to give most low and middle income families and wage earners a tax cut up to $1,000. I wonder why McCain's ad failed to mention it? It's a lie by omission. Clearly, John McCain is a man with few scruples.

POPSLatest Cheap Shot by John McCain Note that Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are included in this ad against Obama although they are completely irrelevant to his campaign. McCain is creating an association that doesn't exist in reality among the three of them and, then, expects the viewer to think that Obama's "celebrity" is related to the drunken and dissipated lifestyles of Hilton & Spears. If McCain didn't want us to draw that conclusion, he could have chosen examples of celebrity that were more honorific. This ad is a total cheap shot.

POPSAnother McCain Gaffe McCain has made so many mistakes, perhaps it should be considered newsworthy when he gets something right.

POPSThe Whiner that isn't Whining Sen. John McMad can't make up his mind. The press was against him yesterday but today it wasn't. McCain has all the characteristics of a pathologically angry person. He acts rashly out of anger, then gets regrets about it and enters into a period of denial. He is too much of a loose cannon to be President.

POPSGeography John McCain Style It's amazing that this man believes he is actually more skilled in foreign policy than Barack Obama. There are teenagers that don't make the errors that John McCain makes routinely.

POPSIraqi Prime Minister Backs Obama's Withdraw Plan For such a neophyte according to McCain, Obama certainly seems to be making the right foreign policy calls. Emphasize Afghanistan instead of Iraq. Set up a diplomatic relationship and negotiation with Iran. Use a specific timetable to withdraw from Iraq. The Bush administration is signing onto to each of these but in different terms. John McCain is beginning to look like a stuck-in-the-mud in contrast.

POPSNo Wonder John McCain Wants to Give Himself a Huge Tax Cut No wonder McCain wants to give himself and wife a huge tax cut. They need the money to pay their past due taxes on their beach condo in CA. For four years they didn't pay their taxes. And we are supposed to trust this guy with nation's economy? If he didn't have the means that would be one thing. But owning seven homes and his wife is rich--come on! This guy is a phony.

POPSVandalism and Racist Slurs Against Obama The business cards praising Hillary Clinton is probably not from any of her supporters but from those who want to smear her as well by implicating her supporters in this crime. Disgusting.

POPSI Call It Wishing the Enemy Would Attack Us The McCain campaign is desperate. They are openly stating that it would take terrorist attack to save McCain now. It sounds like a wish and an open invitation for our enemies to attack us. McCain denounced this statement. But that's hardly enough. He should fire Black as an adviser to the campaign.

POPSMcCain Bellyachiing about the Boumediene Decision Did you notice it was the conservatives (the so-called) "originalists" who were in the minority. That habeas corpus was considered by the founders as a natural right of HUMAN BEINGS is so obvious one would have to be blind and illiterate to miss it. Of course, McCain is bellyaching because he helped to write the awful bill the court shot down.

POPSGOP Braces to Become Double-Digit Losers Although I usually prefer to see more of a balance of party power in government, this year I totally support a thorough drubbing of the Republicans. The years they controlled both the executive and legislative branches have spelled disaster for the US. Their extremist orientation (really, now, Tom DeLay as House Majority Leader--please!) and devil-may-care stewardship of the economy will require at least a decade to undo. They deserve to be punished severely at the polls. Perhaps it will jolt them into a new and less crazy ideological orientation. In my view, if they were smart, they would look to the realism and pragmatism of a Sen. Chuck Hagel for a new model for the GOP.

POPSThe Big Question: Does the Deal Include Clinton's Delegates IMMEDIATELY After maligning him, saying he is less qualified to be President than John McCain, making Obama's skin tone a campaign issue, and generally hurting his chances to win this Fall, any deal to help this $100 millionaire plus pay off her debt ought to include the immediate release and encouragment of Clinton's delegates to vote for Obama. Otherwise, I'd tell her to suck wind and watch how she gets voted down in flames at the convention. She also should QUIT, not suspend, her election bid. Why pay off the debt of someone who just might suddenly unsuspend her candidacy for some bogus reason?
