POPSFear Factor: American Gov't Edition *explicit language I don't have beef with corporate media because Ron Paul doesn't get enough coverage, I am upset with corporate media because Ron Paul doesn't get ANY coverage, and gets banned from the major debates even though he's beaten two "front-runners" (Guiliani and Thompson) multiple times. It goes way beyond coincidence and off the cliff into Lake Conspiracy and then sinks to the bottom of the Collusionus Trench. Thoughts?

POPSCocaine Vaccine in the Works I'm dying to know what people think about this. For the seriously addicted I find this to be a promising option in the battle over addiction, but I fear the "Big Brother" dimension where they may try to force these vaccines on young children in an advancement of The Drug War. Thoughts?

POPSYou vs. The Chimp I want to let this speak for itself. ...but I can't. Darwin would have a field day with this one! What does it all mean? Can chimps recognize the numbers so well because in the wild they have to have a 360 degree, 24/7 awareness of possible predators? Have we lost certain aspects of our physical prowess and/or mental focus because our reality has become safer and more predictable? Thoughts?

POPSTop 25 Censored news stories of 2007
Jimminy Jilickers Radioactive Man, the vice president is selling nukes to Iran and the media doesn't want to talk about it! And that's just the second most significant news story swept under the rug this year according to this Kronkite-endorsed .org. I wonder, what is going on behind the scenes that we aren't privy to, and how does it affect my daily life/sense of reality? If the VP (by way of Halliburton) is in bed with Iran then its not a stretch to think that the media could be in bed with the government. Its almost impossible to know where the real lines are drawn anymore. Democrat/Republican. Democracy/Dictatorship. Capitalist/Fundamentalist. Journalist/Editorialist. Sinner/Saint Its all the same now, the lines are totally blurred. It could be conjectured that much of what we are sold, told, and taught is designed to keep us just "in the know" enough to do our jobs , buy things, and have babies that will grow up, do jobs, and buy things. Long live the American

POPSAmerica's Gods The survey came up with other odd findings: most Americans believe in prophetic dreams, 4 in 10 believe in ancient advanced civilizations like Atlantis, 3/4 of Americans think their relatives will go to heaven, and only 2.2% identified with the term Evangelical even though 1 in 3 attend churches that theologians consider Evangelical. The real bottom line was that asking someone if he is Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish isn't likely to tell you much about what that person actually believes.
