POPSBrowner - Who Cares if Data is Lost and Manipulated? For the last decade or so, we’ve been operating under “The Science is settled. We don’t have time. WE MUST ACT NOW!” Well, last time I checked, global temps have been falling. Even if you’re right, the temperature trend has bought us some time. Maybe it’s time to start the analysis afresh, only this time with a blank slate, and without a stacked deck.

POPSYour Obamacare Future - lots of government CYA, and dead people The trust, which has a budget of £250 million and more than 700 beds at its main hospital in Basildon, has repeatedly pledged to improve but failed to do so, the CQC's report said. “This Government has set up a labyrinth of bodies and inspectors which are meant to ensure high quality standards in our hospitals but it simply isn’t working. This is yet another case where a hospital has passed the test on paper but where real patient safety has clearly been compromised.”

POPSAmerica's Rebirth Those who are investing billions on the expectation of billions in taxpayer subsidies, or favorable regulations that will impose huge costs on the rest of society, shouldn't come crying that they will be driven into bankruptcy when policy suddenly changes. That won't be a consideration after the coming political revolution, no matter who their lobbyist is.

POPSGiving Thanks for Obama Given Obama's remarkably open and constant disdain for the people he was elected to govern, one can make an educated guess what their reaction will be the first time they have a chance to register their feelings at the ballot box. For giving them such an unexpectedly early opportunity to correct the mistake they made last fall, the American people -- especially conservatives -- ought to be thankful for this president. He is an unapologetically aggressive liberal. For the right, that's a good thing. It means there will be no blurring of the ideological lines in the next two elections.

POPSPorkulus and Jobs Wonderful government statistics and projections showing the spending of your great great grandchildren's inheritance will create lots of jobs. Apparently not so good a projecting

POPSFighting In The Streets - Life In Obama's America We conservatives have long talked about our willingness to fight for freedom. In a sense, that's generally been metaphorical, especially when talking about domestic rather than foreign enemies. With the far left now on the march, however, it isn't metaphorical any more. It's just one more sign of the Age of Obama--fighting in the streets, as the extreme Left has been empowered as never before.

POPSUK Proposes Government Home Snoops and how is it all justified? (well apart from that thing about how all Britains are "subjects" and have no written rights other than that to cough up tax money and bow before their betters) About 100,000 children are admitted to hospital each year for home injuries at a cost of £146m.

POPSSEIU Wants To Break Eagle Scout's Legs isn't it just a wonderful thing when government employees get together and want to threaten an Eagle Scout who is just cleaning up the crap that they refuse to do? Or won't do for less than $25 an hour.

POPSYet Another Obama Admin Power Grab Even the gaping hole that has been burned in the Constitution through the commerce clause can't cover this naked power play by the facist Obama administration. Yet nobody will even give a peep apparently. Probably because publicly education citizens are too stupid to read and understand the Constitution.

POPSThe US House of Presumptive Meddlers Advocates of government control want you to believe that the serious shortcomings of our medical and insurance system are failures of the free market. But that's impossible because our market is not free. Each state operates a cozy medical and insurance cartel that restricts competition through licensing and keeps prices higher than they would be in a genuine free market. But the planners won't talk about that. After all, if government is the problem in the first place, how can they justify a government takeover?
