POPSWhat would you have done? A man was run over and left for dead and no one comes forward to help him. No one stops traffic, it appears that no one wanted to get involved.

POPSThe New iPhone is Here! The excitement about the new iPhone has caused the Apple Worldwide developer conference to sell out. This propeller feast is being over run by iPhone enthusiast, who are betting on the success of this second generation product. I waited until the last minute to get my tickets and I got locked out. So i did what anyone would have done and I checked ebay and nothing. Unfortunately, Apple has set up e-tickets, so you can not transfer tickets to someone outside of you company. I found a guy on craigslist selling a ticket for 2x the price. I will let you know if I strike a deal and whether Apple security gets me at the gate.

POPSFresh Phish I can tell the folks at Comcast how it happened - its called outsourcing. I'll give everyone a guess what our .99/hr outsourcing partners will do some day with all of our great "American" bank accounts.

POPS(Katrina Victims) - Louisiana should secede from the United States and request foreign aid!
It's unfortunate to see that in over 2 years very little progress had been made. Displaced residents are no longer residents but homeless. Insurance companies have skillfully shirked their promise of being “good neighbors” or the “good hands people”, and avoided paying legitimate claims. This criminal behavior has robbed victims of Katrina of the hope of rebuilding their lives, families and communities. I find it interesting that our government hasn’t taken more action. Maybe President Bush is waiting for displaced residents to give up the deeds to their empty plots of land, so his Texan friends can build a resort with a few nice golf courses and call it the Rivera of something. I guess it’s a sign of the times. Insurance companies with large lobby groups can avoid the raindrops. Companies can terminate retirement benefits. Social Security should have a new motto, “don’t count on it”. And for former residents of Louisiana, “Forget about it”.
