POPSMcCain Dusts Off Mushroom Cloud Since the republican obviously aren't going to score any points on economic issues or health care, they've decided to trot out the the straw man of the Democratic president waving the white flag of surrender. I guess it's the best they can do. Pretty pathetic...

POPSPerino's Bubble I guess it doesn't really matter. She's required to mouth the talking points; not to think for herself. Heck of a job, Perino!

POPSRomney's Hornets Nest Another commentator speaks up about the disastrous attempt by Romney to make dogma the National mantra. Is there a journalistic shift taking place? Are people waking from their 6 year slumber aboard Bush's Ark? Are they finally seeing the actual harm that this quasi-theocratic administration has wrought? Is there hope?

POPSDown the Rovian Rabbit Hole I wonder if Rove, having lied for most of his life, has bought into his own mythology? Someone should introduce him to the concept of Google. I'm going to go quietly now and pull all my hair out!!!

POPSGiuliani Off His Meds? Wow! And he expects to get elected spouting this sort of nonsense? The more I hear from this man the more I suspect he is insane.

POPSDeaf/Dumb/Blind President Perino needs to retake a basic math class. She refers to appeasement of radical groups; yeah, like 66% of the country has turned radical. And mouth-breathers still buy this crap.

POPSHitch and the War I've never agreed with Hitchens concerning his stand on Iraq. As the author claims, is this a turning point for Hitch? I think that we'll have to wait and see.

POPSAccountability Why reporters refuse to call a pig a pig is unconscionable. By referring to firms like Blackwater as contractors is specious. More to the point would be to call them what they are: mercenaries, guns for hire, armed thugs. And what is never addressed is the total lack of accountability. Oh, and there's always the cronyism leading directly back to the Bush administration and the ties to Halliburton. Why we've allowed this pile of dung to remain in place is a prime example of the fraud, corruption and greed that are earmarks for this immoral disaster.

POPSLies, Lies, and More Lies Dems need to get it together and de-fund this fiasco. They have the votes needed to block funding legislation but not the balls to actually do it. Politics wins over reason. Same crap over and over. We're truly stuck in a Groundhog Day nightmare.

POPSOut of Iraq It's time to pressure Senators to start voting the will of the people and forget about politics. They need a backbone implant.
1
POPSWMD Found! I knew Bush would find them. But who would have thought they'd be at the UN? Now maybe we can declare victory and get out of Iraq???
3
POPSA Brief Respite for Iraqis Even though I don't follow sports news this story brought me happiness. It seems like the Iraqis could use a break now and then.

POPSGiuliani displays ignorance Rudy's reply is interesting considering Paul's info is mirrored in the 911 Report The corporate press failed to report this little fact.

POPSAdministration Takes Us for Fools Bush apparently can't even tell these days when he's lying. He continues to repeat bumper sticker sound bites as though they're gospel. BTW, if he's so desperate to "get the money to the troops as soon as possible" he should simply sign the stupid bill. And the Dems seem to have lost the spine we tried to insert in them during the last election. It's a lie that the troops are or will not be funded. Pure political BS from Bush. And Bushies believe it. Gullibility reigns supreme. Bush appears unable to be able to read the sentiment of the country. The vast majority want us out but he and his oil cronies don't want to let go. They have too much invested already.

POPSNot all Support Bush Nothing I could say compares to what this woman experienced so I'll shut up. Do read the entire piece to appreciate her side of the story.

POPSWashington Times Slogs On The Washington Times rarely disappoints. I stop by at least once a day when I need a good laugh. The clip starts out with them admitting mistakes have been made (funny how long it took them to come to that obvious conclusion). Then the tired song about chaos in Iraq if we withdraw. What do they think is there now. Next we have the unreality from Petreus and an “inventive new strategy”. These people must think they’re addressing pond scum. It ends with a dollop of our meeting with success. Yep, if it weren’t for the Washington Times there’d be little to smile about.

POPSNo More Rubber Stamp Legislature Finally an example of some accountability in government. It’s time that this power hungry administration is put in its place. The next few months should prove to be very interesting.
1
POPSMore Bush Lies How short the American public's attention span is! Bush again falls back to using fear to manipulate the citizenry. Remember the "mushroom cloud". More each day I'm leaning towards impeachment.

POPSAmerican's Short Memory The image of Bush and Abdullah, strolling hand and hand is firmly etched into my memory. Does anyone else recall that? Or the natiionality of most of the 9/11 hijackers? Wow! Truly shows the power the "free market" has over this administration. Profit over people should be their mantra.
