POPSPresident Obama "Furious" Over Plane Incident When President Obama was told about the incident, he was "furious," a White House official says. Caldera was called into a meeting with White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and deputy chief of staff Jim Messina. "It didn't sound like a fun meeting," the White House official says.

POPSObama Open To Prosecuting Bush Administration Officials:Torture Interrogations The president had said earlier that he didn't want to see prosecutions of the CIA agents and interrogators who took part in waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics, so long as they acted within parameters spelled out by government superiors who held that such practices were legal at the time. But the administration's stance on Bush administration lawyers who actually wrote the memos approving these tactics has been less clear and Obama declined to make it so. "There are a host of very complicated issues involved," Obama said.

POPSMichael Steele's Attack On President Obama The RNC letter noted that Mr. Obama while in Europe had said the United States has displayed "arrogance" at times in its foreign policy. But Mr. Steele said it was that it was the former senator from Illinois who was "arrogant". Michael Steele defines, "arrogance".

POPSRush Limbaugh: If Obama Fails, America Is Saved He's not worried about us, he's worried because he falls into the category that will have to pay more taxes. Rush, just reach in your tight pockets and pay up. I've got little sympathy for someone that's trying to save himself while the rest of the country starves. That defines the word, "pig" pretty well. Thing is, the folks that listen to this dolt, don't realize he's using them to line his pockets even further, while wanting us to keep on paying what we can't afford to pay any longer. I've been on both sides of this issue like a lot of people. I've paid an excessive amount of taxes, and I've been defined as middle class during another time in my life. I can't say that it ever occurred to me to be upset at the thought of paying a little more than most. After all, if you make more, it doesn't really affect you at all. Of course, if you're greedy like Limbaugh, that's different. Everything is relative.

POPSSteele Claims He's Done With President Obama!
Con't: And the latest poll is telling us that Murphy (D) now has a 4-point lead in that race. With Steele's job possibly hinging on the outcome, I believe the GOP would like Steele's attention off of the President at least until after the special election. Democrat Scott Murphy has taken a 4 percentage point lead over Republican Jim Tedisco in the race for the 20th Congressional District, according to the latest Siena Research Institute poll. That's outside the 3.2 percent margin of error. However, by a 10-point margin, more voters think Tedisco, an Assemblyman, will end up beating Murphy in the special election, the poll said. Murphy, a venture capitalist, erased a 4 percentage point deficit in just two weeks. Tedisco’s campaign is seen as being more negative than Murphy’s by a 44-25 percent margin, according to the Siena Research Institute survey. The NRCC is so frightened by the prospect of losing in a Republican district that they've pulled out the 9/11 --

POPSBeck Warns Of Another Insidious Obama Plot To Grab Our Guns Guns recovered in some of the largest recent weapons seizures in Mexico are being traced deep into the United States — miles from the volatile border — revealing an expanding trafficking network that feeds Mexico's violent drug cartels, according to government documents and U.S. investigators. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives records show 90% of the weapons recovered and traced originate from a growing number of sources spanning from the Northwest to New England. The trafficking routes have created what Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., described earlier this week as an "iron river of guns" flowing to the warring cartels, contributing to about 7,000 deaths in the past 14 months.

POPSChris Wallace Asks McCain If He Wants To Say, "I Told You So"? WTF!
FTA: Wallace: You ever feel like saying ' I told you so?" McCain: Oh, I'm sure that would be pleasant feeling, but the point is we're in such a severe crisis.... "I told you so?" WTF is that? How dare Wallace ask that question? Have you no decency, sir? President Obama barely has had a chance to sit down in the Oval office and grab a cup of coffee and this jerk is basically calling him a failure and touting John McCain's ideology as the correct one even though it was that ideology that got us into this mess. And America solidly rejected John McCain and Sarah Palin to run this country. And it's the same ideology that is being used to obstruct every move Obama makes to try and dig us out. Do these right wing hacks understand that Obama's legislation hasn't had time to work or even fail at this point? There basis of criticism is all the about the stock market. The "STOCK Market!" The gasbags in suits that put us in this position. Do they also not understand that America h

POPSSen John Cornyn Sucks Up To Rush Limbaugh FTA: Cornyn's play is essentially trying to shift the blame from his own party's failures that led this country headlong into a crater. Talk about trying to shift the focus. Why can't Big John just admit the truth and say that Rush is head of the Limbaugh National Committee. Michael Steele proved that point when he groveled at the feet of Rush. From this we may gather that Cornyn is among those that hopes President Obama will fail too. And Cornyn wonders why America is solidly behind President Obama.

POPSGates: Obama 'More Analytical' Than Bush FTA: And as Bob Somerby put it: What actually happened after Bartlett made that DVD on the first Thursday night? Bush showed up in Mississippi and New Orleans the next day, telling “Brownie” how well he was doing, jesting about fixing up Trent Lott’s house, and joking about how he used to get wasted when he would go to New Orleans to party. This odd conduct was apparently too much for Thomas, so he simply invented a new story element; he simply pretended that Bush had been “shocked” when he watched the news Thursday night. And this morning, Meacham couldn’t wait to repeat the simplified tale.

POPSFox News Creates Even More Fiction These journalistic wonders (cough) at Fox should be embarrassed to go out in public. They make up this garbage and call it news. I'm sick of their propaganda. Our country's well being is at stake here.
