Why just the other day I was in the hospital visiting a friend who had a polar bear break down his apartment door, wrench off his arm, and leave. Fortunately, he was able to dial 911 with his remaining hand. 25,000 is still a fairly sparse gene pool when spread actoss two enormous continents. Try to imagine all of Siberia, Alaska, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Greenland with only 25,000 people, and no settlements or communities. |
