Haven't they been planning this for ages? Is it the island across from the Corniche? Years ago, I thought they were going to make it into some Disneyland sort.

And finally, expanding the airport. It takes 5 minutes tops to get from one end of the terminal to the other....and that's with all the people in the way.

(Oh, and I just found out that Abu Dhabi's an island. 20 years in the UAE and I didn't know that.)

Well, I had a subject in school their geography n culture n what not, so i was aware of that....(you mean to tell me the Maqta Bridge didn't give it away?....c'mon, u must have noticed it on maps of the area....)

Nope...I just thought they put the bridge there for the hell of it. Really. Slow to catch on, aren't I?
