How is it that there is so much wealth in this world and yet, so many people are suffering? We are inundated in the US with commercials that tell us "for only $.33 a day, you can feed a child.

After taxes, office expenses, executive expenses, advertising, photo shoots, postage and of course, "handling"...how much of that actually goes to help ANYBODY?

We cannot help the whole World. But we can do whatever is in our power to help others in our own Community. That's a start.

For the child in the picture, right now "Love is...a puppy." Very soon, he, and others like him, might well discover that "Love is...a Bowl of Rice."
