If you are going to pick a poster child for your campaign, at least pick the right one. There are other clips on this site that divulge more info than this one article leads you to believe.

You mean facts like these:

1) Graeme has a scholarship to a private school. The school costs $15K a year, but the family only pays $500 a year.

2) His sister Gemma attends another private school to help her with the brain injuries that occurred due to her accident. The school costs $23,000 a year, but the state pays the entire cost.

My bad...here is one link, I'll dig up more as I stumble across them.

Also the critics seem to imply that one should sell all your assets and then go live in a trailer park somewhere before you can get a return on your tax payer money. If this family where making oh I don't know $200k a year, fine but less that $80k means that the cost of insuring and paying out of pocket expenses would destroy this family financially.

I guess the message is "Go broke first, then we will talk."
