It is essentially Humanistic and promises a bountiful scarcity-free future right here, in this universe! All religions are based on One basic assumption, "Humans are the ultimate creation", whereas in futurist circles humans are long been viewed as only intellectual primates. Accepting Evolutionary Spirituality opens the doors for wondering about the future and working forward to make it happen. Its a really paradigm shifting realization that we are not the end result of evolution, the process is still on... What rot. For one, all religions are based on the assumption that "there is a supernatural reality." The Bible teaches that man was made "a little lower than the angels," so the idea that "humanity is the ultimate creation" is just plain wrong. oh ya i remember, god was experimenting with creation then, and it turned out that even the perfect one ain't anywhere near perfect. 'Pride' was the reason why Satan fell, right? anyway, while this heavenly rebellion was brewing and about to unfold, god decided creating humans, perhaps the idea was to prevent the flaws of the previous creation (y bother creating less perfect beings otherwise), but alas failed again... so what does it prove? the supposed perfect designer is not so perfect and apparently doesn't know the consequences, implications, repercussions of his messy creation frenzy! (and yet he is supposed to be omniscient) BTW, in Islam at least, Man is the ultimate creation. th... |
