Most of the US population opposes legislation that makes these "marriages" illegal because they mock the world-wide traditional description of "marriage" and would require monetary appropriations for these "spouses". It's the latest culturally chic thing and the militant attacks against the Mormons, conservative Christians, and the democratically voted response to the issue is now the target. Perhaps I should take your irritability at my inquiry as being indicative of your inability to provide a cogent answer to a civil question. It is your choice to respond as you like and mine to interpret it as I must. Perhaps you can answer this, then. What makes you feel that those who are seeking the end result of this "agenda" are seeking anything more than fair and equal treatment under the law when compared with the exercising of same said liberty by those who oppose them? Equality under the law is of course one of the foundations of our country, and if all they are seeking is such fairness, why shouldn't they feel inequity in the status quo? Thanks, John. Looks accurate, as far as I know.  Seems like a very busy half-hour there between 2:00 and 2:30, though. Perhaps jatfla will correct it if it's not what she was thinking of, in the interest of fairness and rational conversation as a way of understanding her perspective.
