Photo taken during my visit to Naxos in 2001. The statue is in Naxos Town (Hora) which is the port. The main thoroughfare is also named after him.

His maternal great uncle, Petros Protopapadakis, was the Prime Minister of Greece in 1922, and the main thoroughfare in the Hora is named after him.
