That would be EARNED income. Unearned income is the profit made from those who actually do the work. The US Census doesn't even figure the top 1% into the mix.

Owning class, upper class, ruling class, moneyed class: Those who run the affairs of the country, who are on the boards of directors for corporations, universities, newspapers,TV, churches, and foundations. Those who have the power to hire and fire with no recourse and no accountability. They answer only to eachother, not to congress and certainly not to the people.
