Hey, who told Fred to jump on the Edwards bandwagon?

(actually, I think Elizabeth Edwards was right in revealing her cancer, but I'm suspicious of Fred if it truly is in remission. Why mention it?)

Although non-hodgkins lymphoma can be in "remission," the statement that it won't affect life expectancy seems odd. Most of those I have known who have had it have died relatively early in their lives, generally following some period or periods of remission. I hope he is right and it stays in remission.
