In May 2007, Comcast began engaging in protocol-specific interference with the activities of its subscribers. When confronted by users and by EFF, <A href="http://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2007/09/comcast-and-bittorrent">Comcast responded</A> with denials and answers that told less than the whole story.
