Web 2.0 granddaddy Dave Winer is building a service to post Flickr photos to Twitter. If you weren't one of the lucky few to get an invite, here's how to jury-rig a system to do the same thing on your own. (Winer already created Twittergrams, which I clipped earlier. With Twittergrams you can post short mp3s to Twitter. He even provides a phone interface. Extremely, extremely cool.)

The reason I posted this is because I am mystified by Dave Winer's project to feed Flickr photos to Twitter. He is giving out <A href="http://twitter.com/davewiner/statuses/196856532">ten invites</A> as of this afternoon. His relevant blog posts are <A href="http://scripting.wordpress.com/2007/08/09/scripting-news-for-8907/">here</A> and <A href="http://www.scripting.com/stories/2007/08/09/readyForAFewTesters.html">here</A>, and the Twittergram page for the new service is <A href="http://www.twittergram.com/flickrToTwitter">here</A>. Now, I'm not a technical wizard, so it's quite likely I am missing some key component here, but what does his project do that Twitterfeed can't do? </DIV>
