bignosemousie says: For parents of little ones, this show is really well done. The first time I watched it, I thought "wth?" because it's so unusual. The duckling has a lisp, which for some reason seems so endearing. Lots of singing, with original scores by Broadway composers. i've seen this too- it's great...my daughter is into it...thanks. This sounds really cute. that guinea pig has been around for a long time and it drives me nuts! I think aiden liked him the first couple times then got over him too. We'll see if this makes him shine in a new lite... I just found out yesterday that the guinea pig is a girl! all this time I thought it was a boy. It's even cooler that the leader of the group is a girl. Both of my kids are totally into Wonder Pets these days... in fact the older one is singing 'what's gonna work? - teamwork' right now I'm pretty sure it's from the same guy who did Oobi. The show isn't the best I've ever seen, but I have to say the messages get drilled so much, that they stick. My daughter, who has serious lack of appreciation for veggies (to put it mildly) - is now asking for celery. Not eating it, mind you, just asking for it... but eating will be next (or so I hope). And the whole teamwork concept is certainly positive, saving animals... good stuff, reiterated. Seems to work. It's not exactly very realist... Doot-Do-Do Face is my Hero Face? skwirlinator, are you longing for the A-Team by chance? No, Face is/was on Nick Jr when my daughter used to watch it DooT-Do-Do RecordSage, my daughter sings the teamwork song every time we do something together. haha. It does get kind of old. And she also eats celery now. I wonder if Josh Selig (I think that's his name) has a celery plant somewhere? |
