The hate against President Obama is being whipped up in every way possible. The rhetoric of violence is in full force. If the neocons don't want to do it themselves they want some KKK or braindead American to do it for them.

Which is why....well, which is why I've found it more imperative than ever to rebuff the critics that come from left and right and from up and down and make the point of many folks need to realize who's team they are on...and cheer on and support the breathtaking and awesome reforms and achievements of the new President.

Um...I got a red neck neighbor and it's Astounding to now drive by his house. He's like this guy in this clip. He's got flags and skulls (SW cow skulls) and 'Don't Tread on Me messages all over the place and his biggest sign is: Obama is a Tyrant!

I touch him with a ten-foot pole occassionally (as is my wont) and he appears to think I want and I'm happy because the government will send me money (the 'stimulus plan).

I'm not aware of any specific plans by the government to send me money but maybe it's another tax rebate or my neighbor thinks the government is now going to make my mortgage payments.

He also thinks that Obama is taking over the banks (rather than the banks stealing from the Bush era government). Thus Obama is a socialist.

As in this clip he firmly belives Obama wants to take away his (and my) guns [Um...I got two firearms, very normal and reasonable out in the Southwest desert and Apache Mountains...there are bears in the woods, mountain lions (lions!), etc. and Mexican and Gringo drug gangs.

Anyhow, I put a little US flag on my front door.

These dudes want to think they are the patriots when they're really just idiots. It ain't just their flag and now we've come to really fighting over it again.
