Quantum is the uncertainty of the particle. Once observed it is no longer a quantum particle. I believe the term quantum particle in this application is a misnomer and is not a true quantum.
Think shrodinger's cat. It is quantum until the box is opened. Then it is just a dead or an alive cat.
Of coarse I am just a lowly truck mechanic so I am probably misunderstanding the whole concept
