...and serving you food!
...and handing you a pen!
...and touching you!

I'm shocked that the number is that high. This is one of my huge pet peeves and I rarely see people not wash their hands.
I've been told by transplants to my area that people in the Northeast have a more of European bent on hygiene and almost never wash their hands. Is that true?

12 % of women, yuck...
When I lived in MI. I noticed guys would wash there hands before they went to the bathroom, I finaly ask a guy why and he said he didnt want to get his Dic@ dirty.
I guess they didnt care who's hand they were shaking or what was on there hands.
It would probably be cleaner to grab there pee pee and shake it, maybe then they would start washing there hands...
I always wash my hands but I was brought up that way, so maybe it has something to do with the parents and what they are teaching there children...

While a good point is being made, let us all not be so germ obsessed. If a fellow took a shower an hour or three ago, and has learned not to pee on his own hand (which is sterile when it is released, anyway, so a quick rinse is perhaps sufficient in that case), chances are his hands had more germs from objects he touched prior to his relief than from his relief. A penis, in and of itself, is not a dirty thing, unless it is your mind which makes it so. That is a whole other issue.

Sweat and microscopic bacteria form on penises weather you pee on your hands or not. I don't pee on my toes either, but I certainly wouldn't let anyone suck on them before a good scrubbing!

Did you know that most of the people that wash their hands do it wrong - My wife is a CNA. She showed me.
Mom showed me too but I got lazy over the years.
