I doubt that very seriously. I've heard may talk about their vote and conscience is the more likely motivator for their votes, given the odds that existed of it passing without their votes. We've seen the Dems master this art of opposition for the sake of opposition, only to eventually come to support a particular bill. In this case, if the Republicans who voted against the bill are wrong, then they will pay. They know that. On important legisaltion the motive generally is always values and constituents. (Unless one is an idiotic...
