Um. This the same Bradley Burston accused on CM comments last week of dishonesty using the charge of antisemitism
as a way of deflecting critics of Israel?

Er... Some CM comments are really worth reading. In case you think the comments mentioned by you should be reckoned among the readable ones, would you please be so kind as to specify your allusion?

In search of comments touching Bradley Burston, I couldn't find any such accusation against him.

However, you know? The clipped article speaks for itself. Being accustomed to pore over original wordings and to take the originators at their word, I am pinched for time of attending to any commentators' misconceiving or even cattish chitchat.

Author's note: This is the second version of this piece. The first was written, I freely admit, in anger and in suspicion, not least because of the many cases of the unwarranted killings of Palestinian civilians which have gone unreported, underreported, glossed over, or misrepresented in the Israeli media, and because the army was initially unwilling to provide its side of the story, and has been less than completely forthcoming since.

Allow me, if you will, to preface this piece by pointing out to those of you who began your comments "If you had ever served in the IDF ..." to state that it was because I served in the ID...
